02 · Your turn

Find your first one

Two minutes, a pen, and the grid above.

  1. 1

Write down everything you do in a working week. Include the boring, repetitive half.

  2. 2

Hold your list up against the grid above.

  3. 3

Ask one question of each job: could I hand this to Claude?

Anything you could check yourself is worth a try. Start with one, and keep the result.

03 · The bigger move

Become the AI person

Found your first task above? Run this loop and it becomes a role.

  1. 1

Pick one painful task and name the number it costs you. The number is always one of three: time saved, mistakes cut, or money made.

  2. 2

Build the fix with Claude and your real documents, and iterate until it is reliable. Then record a two-minute before-and-after demo.

  3. 3

Prove the number moved, then ask your team one question: does anyone have a task they would want me to look at? No pitching.

  4. 4

Stack the wins, and frame every one as your boss’s win. Make the role official before the job posting exists.

Nobody has a ten-year head start on this stuff. A few months early is all it takes to be the AI person where you work.

The loop is adapted from Nate Herk’s playbook, trimmed to the in-house path. The original: How I’d Make Money with Claude

This is what lessons are for

Finding the task, naming the number, and building the fix is exactly what we do together in a lesson. Book a lesson and bring step 1 with you.
