Privacy policy
What this site collects, why, and what you can ask me to do with it. Last updated 13 October 2026.
Who I am
This site is run by Sean McCloskey, an AI tutor working as a sole trader. I decide how your data is used. Contact: sean@mccloskey.ai.
What I collect, and why
- 1
The enquiry form. Your name, email, company (if you give it), your message, and which page or link brought you there. I use it to reply to you, and for nothing else.
- 2
The email sign-up. Your email address. I use it to send the template you asked for, and its later versions. Reply "unsubscribe" to any of them, or email me, and you are off the list.
- 3
Booking a call. Bookings go through Calendly, which collects what its form asks for under its own privacy policy. I see the booking and your answers.
The legal basis is your consent (you sent the form) and my legitimate interest in replying to you. I don't sell your data, and I don't use it for advertising.
What I don't collect
This site uses no analytics and no advertising trackers, and it sets no tracking cookies. Videos are click-to-play: nothing loads from YouTube until you press play. After that, YouTube's own privacy terms apply, and it plays from youtube-nocookie.com.
Who else handles it
- 1
Netlify hosts the site and stores the form entries. It keeps standard server logs, which include your IP address. Netlify's privacy policy.
- 2
Google Fonts serves the fonts, so your browser asks Google for them. Google's privacy policy.
- 3
Calendly, for bookings, as above.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiries for as long as we are in touch, and for up to two years after. Sign-up emails stay until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete them.
Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to object to how I use it, or to take a copy. Email sean@mccloskey.ai and I'll reply within a month. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or to your local data protection authority.
McCloskey YouTube Uploader
McCloskey YouTube Uploader is a private tool I use to publish videos to my own YouTube channel. It is not offered to anyone else. It uses YouTube API Services.
- 1
What it accesses. Only my own YouTube channel, after I sign in with Google: it uploads videos, schedules them, and sets their titles, descriptions, captions, thumbnails and playlists.
- 2
Where the data goes. The sign-in token stays on my own computer. No Google user data is shared, sold, or used for advertising. Its use of Google data follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- 3
The terms that apply. By using YouTube you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and your data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
- 4
Revoking access. Access can be withdrawn at any time from the Google Account security settings (security.google.com/settings/security/permissions). Stored tokens are deleted on request.
